Construction, renovation

- Think about the comfort brought by a construction that fulfils the standards of low consumption of energy (HQE, Minergie)

- Pay particular attention to the insulation, because a well-insulated house will content itself with a smaller, therefore less expensive, heating installation

- A well-insulated house is not, as the myth claims it, unhealthy - as far as it is ventilated in an appropriate way. Moreover, controlled ventilation with heat recovery ensures a better comfort and additional energy savings

- Choose insulating glazing

- Abolish the electric heating. Even in a house with low consumption of energy, the electric heating does not have its place

- Support the use of renewable energies

- Consider in advance (if possible during the construction) some space for water pipes as well as the compatibility of your boiler with thermic solar panels, because you may well turn to solar energy one day. Indeed, the trend of electricity or oil markets is uncertain, whereas the use of solar energy will always remain free
